26/1/04: Training weekend in Malham
The annual training weekend for Dark Peak Fell Runners and Sheffield based orienteers moved to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales this year. Organised mainly by Tim Tett, this is a weekend of serious training and/or partying. Malham outdoor centre was the perfect base for running, orienteering or biking over the stunning limestone pavement terrain.

Highlights included a scramble up Goredale Scar waterfall (with a bike..!), an epic run up Pen-y-ghent (for some), some hair-raising biking on country lanes and a spectacular run to Malham Cove.
