3/2/04: But first, Viva Espana!
Next weekend we will be heading for some winter sun (we hope...) in
Alicante, Spain. After several weeks of crazy weather in Sheffield - rain, snow,
gales - we are going to take part in the World Ranking Events Costa
Calida and Costa
Blanca trophies. We will also take part in the winter sun orienteering week
which will be organised by Sun-O
tours.
It looks like there will be a big international field at both events as several
Scandinavian clubs are coming across for winter training camps. We will be running
for Sheffield Elite Squad - a mixture of SYO, ShUOC and coach Bilbo Bagness.
