So
the weeks training in Spain didn't exactly go according to plan. The warm weather
was there but unfortunately we both managed to take a cold out with us. This
meant a week of constant concern - am I getting better? Should I run today or
should I rest? There really is nothing more frustrating than being unable to
train when you have an unused pile of maps in front of you! Anyway, we managed to do some kind of training and run in most of the races. The World Ranking Events were both bushy and rocky - interesting and exciting terrain, but definitely tough going. Some map highlights from the races are below - click on the thumbs to see them. Congratulations to Matt Crane who ran well in the Costa Calida WRE to get third place.
