27/10/03: The end of an era; Peter Palmer passed away
He was an inspiration to countless young orienteers, many of them now part of the world elite.

Peter was one of the founding members of Walton Chasers and was heavily involved in junior and elite coaching throughout his life. Most members of the national team have been coached by him at some stage in their careers and will remember him as a great friend and inspiration.
