14/9/04:Meanwhile Jenny's watching on the internet
I'm very disappointed not to be running in my 3rd consecutive World Champs (especially
after all the hours of training I've done in Vasteras this year...) and I'm
trying to keep myself busy this week and not just watch all day on the internet!
I even went orienteering on Sunday (first time since the selection races!) and threw myself round a brown course at Eccleshall Woods which I actually really enjoyed! Meanwhile I am concentrating on my running at the moment and training with Hallamshire Harriers in preparation for the Yorkshire and Northern Road Relays over the next 2 weekends, which will be followed shortly by the Fell relays for Dark Peak (reigning FRA champions!).
I'm hoping that my the end of October I will once more love orienteering!
